[ARCHIVED] 3/14/2022 - Hamilton Township Free Job Fair Announced for March 25

Mayor Jeff Martin and the Hamilton Township Office of Community & Economic Development will offer a free job fair for residents seeking employment in the greater Hamilton Township area and Hamilton businesses looking for employees.

This year's in-person job fair will be held on Friday, March 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Colonial Fire House located at 801 Kuser Road. It has been made possible with the support of the Mercer County Office of Economic Development and in partnership with The Hamilton Township Economic Development Advisory Commission (HTEDAC), The Hamilton Partnership, SHOP Hamilton, and the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber.

“In these challenging economic times, it is critical to help our residents learn about local employment opportunities as well as to continue our commitment to assist our businesses and vendors fill their vacancies as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Mayor Martin. “Hamilton is a vibrant community with businesses large and small and an eager workforce. I look forward to welcoming all to this job fair.”

The job fair will showcase job openings from employers in various fields and skillsets, including representatives from Amazon, Genesis Biotech, and area small businesses in Hamilton. Represented companies will be available to discuss their open positions, answer questions in a face-to-face in-person environment, and collect resumes from prospective employees. In addition to employer booths, the job fair will also include resume-writing assistance courtesy of Robert Half and Word Center Printing. Residents seeking employment and businesses interested in participating can register at www.hamiltontownshipjobfair.com. E-mail questions to Kate Kane at KKane@HamiltonNJ.com

The Hamilton Township Department of Health will be onsite to administer COVID-19 vaccines from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Individuals interested in receiving a booster should bring proof of prior vaccination.

The job fair is an annual program offered under the Community & Economic Development Department (Department). The Department works to support economic development across the community. It is home to eight divisions, including Economic Development, Engineering, Housing Authority, Housing Inspection & Landlord Compliance, Inspections/Construction, Land Use, Planning, and Zoning Enforcement.
