Authorized Membership: The Committee shall not consist of more than 15 members, all who must be residents of the Township.
The Township Planner, the Director of the Department of Health, Recreation, Senior and Veterans Services, or his or her designee, and the Director of the Department of Public Works, or his or her designee, shall be ex officio members of the Committee
A member of the Hamilton Township Council will serve as a liaison to the Committee
Appointment Authority: Mayor with advice and consent of Council
Regular Member Term: 1/3 of Members will serve for three years, 1/3 for two years, and the remainder for one year.

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee aids in the planning for the development of the township parklands so as to benefit every segment of the total population of the Township. The committee may also may recommendations on ways to expand existing programs or to begin new ones.
