On May 25, 2025, at approximately 1:00 am Officers Zimmerman and Episcopo conducted a motor vehicle stop at West Park Avenue and South Broad Street. During the course of the stop, a K-9 unit was requested, and Robbinsville Police Department Lieutenant Kivet responded with K-9 Corbin.
K-9 Corbin alerted officers to the presence of narcotics within the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a loaded Taurus PT140 semi-automatic handgun, along with various pills suspected to be narcotics.
The driver, identified as Shevar Graffie of Willingboro, was placed under arrest by Hamilton Police Officers and transported to headquarters, where he was processed and charged with the following offenses: Unlawful possession of a weapon, Possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, and Possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
All accused individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
