In a unanimous decision, the Hamilton Township Council has accepted the donation of a 7.02-acre parcel of land located at the intersection of Whitehorse Mercerville Road and Cypress Lane. The largely wooded wetland, which lies in a key area of the community, will remain undeveloped.
The property, generously donated by Poblete Investments, LLC, strengthens the Township’s ongoing efforts to protect and expand the natural landscapes in our community for the benefit of future generations.
“We are deeply grateful to Poblete Investments for their generosity,” said Mayor Jeff Martin. “This donation is a win for both our environment and our residents. It not only helps us preserve our natural spaces but also does so at no cost to taxpayers—an important step in maintaining Hamilton Township’s high quality of life.”
Hamilton Township is home to over 5,700 acres of preserved land, a total that surpasses the entire land area of the neighboring City of Trenton. For more information, visit the Hamilton Township Land Use and Planning Divisions website at www.HamiltonNJ.com/CED.
