Garbage & Recycling
COVID-19 Related Garbage & Recycling Delays - January 2022
Due to ongoing staffing shortages related to COVID-19, Solterra, who handles Hamilton Township's garbage collection and Mercer County Improvement Authority's recycling collection, is continuing to experience delays in finishing routes on their normally scheduled days. As crews work as quickly and safely as possible, please continue to leave items for collection curbside on your regularly scheduled collection day. Solterra anticipates collection with 24-48 hours of the collection date.
For recycling collection, you may choose to drop items to the Ecological Facility located at 1360 Kuser Road. Information on hours and items you may drop off can be found at www.hamiltonnj.com/ecofacility.
