Curbside Garbage Collection

Hamilton Township offers residents curbside garbage collection twice a week (with the exception of a holiday). Trash shall be placed curbside for collection beginning at dusk the night preceding the scheduled collection day; or by 6 am the day of scheduled collection.

Curbside Recycling Collection

Curbside recycling collection for several paper, plastic and glass products is provided once every two weeks and is coordinated by the Mercer County Improvement Authority (MCIA).

The Mercer County Improvement Authority has updated its recycling schedule throughout Mercer County, including Hamilton Township, in 2023. The recycling collection dates have been updated, but your designated collection day of the week remains unchanged. You should receive in the mail, if you have not already, a flyer directly from the MCIA with updated information. Please follow this new information instead of what is listed in the 2023 Hamilton Township Calendar.
