On Thursday, April 28, 2022, Hamilton Township Mayor Jeff Martin was present to welcome Alpha Ink Studio with a grand opening & ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Edgar and Krystal DeLeon opened their family-owned business, Alpha Ink Studio, in a 1,200-square-foot space at 2103 Whitehorse-Mercerville Road in the Mercer Woods Plaza. Their studio specializes in custom tattoos with four tattoo stations and space for additional services such as piercings.
Edgar immigrated to the United States as a child from Guatemala and was always interested in art. This interest in art has turned into a career in the tattoo industry for over five years and includes an apprenticeship at a local tattoo studio. Edgar's dream to own a tattoo studio has finally come to fruition here in Hamilton.
"We welcome Alpha Ink Studio to Hamilton. We are thrilled to see a small business owner follow their dream and choose Hamilton as their home," said Mayor Jeff Martin. "We value our small businesses, and we are here to help them along the way as they grow in success."
