On Friday, February 21, 2025, Mayor Jeff Martin was present for the ribbon cutting and grand opening of P23 Tea, a charming new tea café.
Located in the Concord Square Shopping Center on Route 33, P23 Tea is more than just a place to grab a drink—it’s a warm, welcoming space designed to create unforgettable tea experiences. The café offers a delightful selection of teas, milk teas, and locally sourced desserts, all served in a cozy atmosphere perfect for both adults and children. Specializing in private tea parties, P23 Tea caters to a wide range of events, from children’s tea parties to adult gatherings.
The café is the brainchild of owner, Dandra Henriques, who has spent years dreaming of bringing a unique tea experience to her community. "I had always dreamed of opening a café but never took the leap," said Dandra Henriques. For 20 years, Dandra worked as a hair stylist, and over the last four years, owned a local Hamilton hair salon. As a single mother of four, it was challenging to venture into something new. But after meeting my husband, I finally found the courage to pursue my café dream. With his support, we brought it to life together."
Mayor Jeff Martin praised the new addition to Hamilton’s business community, stating, “P23 Tea is a wonderful example of the entrepreneurial spirit thriving in Hamilton. Dandra’s passion and vision have created not just a café, but a welcoming space for the community to gather, connect, and enjoy something special. We are proud to have P23 Tea as part of our town’s vibrant small business landscape and encourage everyone to stop by and support this fantastic local business.”
The name “P23 Tea” is inspired by Psalms 23, which holds a special meaning for Dandra – “It reminds me that even through the darkest times, I have always made it through, and as a woman, we don’t have to constantly pour from an empty cup.” Dandra continued, “We’re not just about tea, we want to create a space for people to come together, enjoy great food and drinks, and make lasting memories."
P23 Tea also features a cozy coworking space where individuals can find productivity in a peaceful, creative environment. Café Hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 7:30 PM, Friday from 8 AM to 9:30 PM, Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM and closed on Sunday.
