Mayor Jeff Martin was present to welcome Deerpath Bagels and Burgers with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, October 4th, 2024.
Husband and wife owners Kaushal Bhai and Krishna Mahida and business partner Swapna Goli are excited to bring their vision to Hamilton. Kaushal learned the art of bagel baking from a family friend, Mr. Yatin Patel, who has over 30 years of experience.
Kaushal and Krishna lived in Flemington for 15 years, where they operated a family store, fostering a strong community connection. After moving to Robbinsville last year, they were inspired to open a bagel shop in Hamilton. With the help of their family friend, Mr. Yatin Patel, they found a great location and worked hard to bring their dream to fruition.
"We wanted to create a fun and inviting space where the community can enjoy delicious food," said Krishna Mahida, standing in front of beautiful enlarged photos of Hamilton iconic landmarks. "We're excited to be part of Hamilton and look forward to serving our community with passion and flavor."
Deerpath Bagels and Burgers stands out with its unique offerings, including over 15 bagel varieties each baked fresh daily, paired with creative spreads and toppings. The burger menu features options made from premium ingredients and includes vegan options and plant-based protein shakes and smoothies, ensuring there's something for everyone.
