The process of choosing the family's next pet is not something that should be rushed or taken lightly. Our staff will use their experience and knowledge to match you and your family with a companion appropriate for your home. We encourage you to spend time with the animal you are considering for adoption so that you can get to know him or her a little better before making a lifetime commitment.
If you are looking to adopt a dog and currently have another dog at home, we strongly recommend that you bring the dog(s) to the shelter for a "meet and greet" to meet the potential new dog.
If you rent, please check with your landlord for any pet restrictions, which may include size, breed, or weight limits. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, and will be required to produce a government-issued photo identification.
