Roadway Safety Plan

 

	1. Education • If you speed in our Town, you will be ticketed in our Town. • We do not tolerate our residential roads being used as shortcuts for trucks. • When you are in a school zone or residential area, we insist that you to be particularly careful. Children are present.
2. Enforcement • We have equipped more of our police cars with radar detectors to increase the likelihood that we will catch speeders. • We have banned trucks from more of our residential roadways to reduce the number of trucks cutting through our community. • We are taking a tougher stance on speeding. If you are caught speeding, you can expect a ticket – this is your warning.
	3. Infrastructure • We are making Township-wide improvements to our roadways and intersections to improve driver safety and to reduce traffic congestion. Infrastructure Improvement Plan (PDF)
