Hamilton Seeking Photographs and Advertisers for Township’s 2012 Calendar
While there are still several weeks left in 2011, Hamilton is already working on its upcoming 2012 Township calendar, which is mailed to every household in the community. As in past years, residents can once again submit photographs to the Township for a chance to have the photograph, as well as their name to appear in the calendar.
Hamilton Mayor John Bencivengo is calling on residents to send in their best photographs of township parks, events or special places in “America’s Favorite Hometown”. A committee of Township officials and residents will then judge the best photographs for inclusion in the 2012 Calendar.
Submitted photographs should ideally be of public places, landmarks or community events that take place in Hamilton throughout the year. The contest judges will be specifically look for photographs that illustrate why Hamilton Township is such a special community to live in. The judging committee will also look for photographs that fit into a specific month or seasonal theme. Residents are discouraged to submit photographs that only feature one or a few individuals and do not highlight the above criteria.
Photographs must be submitted electronically (via E-mail attachment) to DDeGregory@HamiltonNJ.com no later than Monday, November 28, 2011, and meet the quality standards of at least 300 DPI (dots per inch) or minimum dimensions of 3000 x 2400 pixels. Participating residents must also submit a signed disclaimer form, giving full permission for the photograph to be used for the calendar. Also, any person or private object (such as works of art) must have the permission of the works rightful owner. The form is available on Hamilton’s website, www.HamiltonNJ.com.
Additionally, local businesses that are interesting in advertising in the upcoming 2012 Township Calendar still have a chance to participate in this excellent opportunity to reach the 92,000 resident of Hamilton.
