Hamilton’s Municipal Alliance
Against Substance Abuse is Recognized for Its Efforts
Recently, Hamilton’s Municipal
Alliance Against Substance Abuse (HAASA) received recognition from the Mercer
County Office of Addiction Services for its ongoing efforts in the area of
substance abuse prevention and education.
Hamilton’s Alliance Against
Substance Abuse Committee (HAASA) serves as the official Township coordinating
body for the planning, awareness and education of substance abuse prevention
efforts on Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs (ATOD’s). The committee is
dedicated to promoting safe, healthy and responsible lifestyles through
community involvement, education programs and family oriented events for all
residents of Hamilton Township. HAASA is advisory in nature; and awards State
allocated funds to programs that meet certain criteria.
