12/8/2017 - Weather Advisory for December 9 – 10, 2017

Weather Advisory for December 9 – 10, 2017

At the time of this update, forecasts indicate the probability of snow for our area beginning in the early morning hours Saturday morning, December 9, 2017, and continuing into the early morning hours Sunday morning, December 10, 2017.  Forecasts indicate that the heaviest snowfall may occur between 11 am – 5 pm on Saturday.

At this time, accumulation of between 2 ½ to 5 inches of snowfall is forecasted, although pavement temperatures may yield lower snow accumulations on roads.  As with any winter weather event, ongoing changes for this storm system could alter final accumulation figures.  Residents should continue to monitor weather reports.

In preparation for this winter storm, Township crews have already applied brine to our community's primary roads.  Hamilton's Department of Public Works and Office of Emergency Management will continue to monitor this storm’s progress and prepare for plowing of primary roads.

Mayor Kelly Yaede and Hamilton’s Office of Emergency Management urge residents to exercise caution if traveling during and/or following snowfall.
