(Hamilton) – Making tax and sewer bill payments will now be easier for Hamilton residents thanks to some new improvements to the Township’s online payment services.
Previously, residents were only able to make debit payments for quarterly property tax bills. However, sewer bill payments, as well as payment via credit card, were unavailable.
But now, Hamilton residents will be able to use the Township’s online payment services to:
ü Pay Tax and Sewer Bills via Credit Card (note – there is a 2.9% service charge)
ü Pay Tax and Sewer Bills via ACH Debit or Online Checking Account with NO Service Charge
ü Pay Tax and Sewer Bill Delinquency Charges
“We have worked to expand online payment options for residents to help make doing so easier and more convenient,” explains Hamilton Township Mayor John Bencivengo.
To make online payments, residents can visit the Hamilton Township website (www.HamiltonNJ.com) and select “How Do I…?” at the top left side of the homepage. Links for both Tax Payments and Sewer Payments will appear for residents to use.
As a reminder to Hamilton residents, May 10, 2010, is the final day to make 2nd quarter Property Tax bills to the Township and avoid late payment interest charges.
