This Weekend’s Annual Fall Harvest
Postponed Due to Inclement Weather
Annual Event will be Held on Sunday, October 25th
This weekend’s Fall Harvest has been postponed due to inclement weather and will be rescheduled to take place on NEXT SUNDAY, October 25, 2009, from 11 am to 4 pm in scenic Kuser Farm Park.
There Hamilton residents can celebrate autumn by enjoying craft vendors, music, food and much more. Many activities for children will also be available, such as a Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Face Painting and a Pumpkin Patch for children 10 years of age and younger, while supplies last.
Additionally, residents can register that day to take part in a Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest that will begin at 1 pm. Following this at 2 pm, visitors can get into the Halloween spirit with a Costume Parade.
While there is no cost of admittance to Fall Harvest, visitors are asked to bring non-perishable food items for a food drive to assist those in need, which is organized by local non-profit group Tenderhearts.
For more information about Fall Harvest, resident can call Hamilton’s Recreation Division at (609) 890-4028, weekdays between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm.
“Fall Harvest is a wonderful event for the whole family to enjoy,” says Hamilton Township Mayor John Bencivengo. “Nature paints a beautiful autumn setting in Kuser Farm Park, which along with the many crafts and activities makes for an enjoyable Sunday afternoon for all who attend.”
