Hamilton’s Septemberfest Set to Celebrate 30th Anniversary
Crafters, Vendors and Exhibitors Can be Part of the Milestone Event
It’s been a community tradition for three decades – and this year, Hamilton Township will celebrate its 30th anniversary.
The event, which started as way to showcase a then-new Veterans Park, has become an annual staple of the community. And now reaching its 30th birthday – this year’s Septemberfest will enjoy a “Birthday Fair” theme to celebrate its milestone anniversary on Sunday, September 9, 2012, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Veterans Park.
In addition to the traditional crafters, vendors and exhibiting organizations, this year’s Septemberfest will feature a special section of fair games for children to play and receive prizes while supplies last. Young people can also enjoy a pony ride attraction at the community event.
Septemberfest will also be filled with plenty of entertainment, including the Funny Factory Clown Band, which will be performing throughout the park, local bands like the Ernie White Band and Radio Fiction, in addition to stilt walkers, a rag-time pianist, musical bands and even a karaoke section.
To make the 30th anniversary of Septemberfest a memorable celebration, photo booths will be available so attendees can enjoy a lasting memory of the milestone event.
This year’s Septemberfest will also feature two, separate food courts so residents can enjoy refreshments throughout the day.
Special thanks to all of our sponsors and exhibitors who have made our 30th annual Septemberfest possible, including leading event sponsor Hamilton Honda and prominent support by Robert Wood John University Hospital - Hamilton and Hamilton Horizon.
