Last evening (5/12/11), Hamilton Township Mayor John Bencivengo recognized four Hamilton High School students who were the recipients of the Hamilton Township Economic Development Advisory Commission’s 2011 Scholarship Awards at a special ceremony that was part of this week’s Hamilton Business Week.

The four students,  Victor Fallas of Nottingham High School, Matthew Rhodes of Trenton Catholic Academy, Michael Baldassari of Steinert High School, and Dara Eliacin of Hamilton High School West, were chosen by their respective schools to receive this honor, which included proclamations from Mayor Bencivengo and the Hamilton Township Council, as well as a $500 scholarship.

The funding for these scholarships is provided through the generosity and support of Hamilton Township’s local business community.  Hamilton’s Economic Development Advisory Commission works to continue this scholarship program on an annual basis.
