HAMILTON RESIDENTS REMINDED TO LOCK CAR DOORS, REMOVE VALUABLES

The Hamilton Police Division would like to remind all Hamiltonians that while no automobile can be “100% burglar proof,” following these quick tips can help make you and your automobile less of a target for crime.

 

Remember to:

 

·        Lock all car doors, including trunks and cargo area doors.

·        Close all windows completely.  A hot car is a small inconvenience compared to the trauma of a burglary.

·        Remove all valuables, such as GPS units, MP3 players, phones, wallets and loose change.

 

Always remember to report suspicious activity.  If you see something out of the ordinary, report it!  Don’t let the bad guys win!  For more information, contact the Crime Prevention Office at 581-4034.
