Welcome to the Municipal Clerk's Office portion of our website. The Office of the Municipal Clerk has many duties which include secretary to the governing body, chief administrative officer for all local elections, registrar of municipal voters, custodian of records, and also provides for the issuance of various licenses and permits.
Acting as secretary to the governing body, the Office of the Municipal Clerk maintains all records with regard to the township’s local ordinances, resolutions, and public proceedings. This office prepares the minutes for all Township Council meetings, processes, records and files ordinances and resolutions and other official documents.
As the township’s election official, the Municipal Clerk handles voter registration, accepts petitions for vacancies in local elected offices, provides materials for local and Board of Education elections, selects polling locations and calculates and maintains custody of election results.

As the custodian of the township’s records, the office of the Municipal Clerk is also a major source of information for our residents. As such, public record requests are processed through this office.
