MAYOR GILMORE DEDICATES LABAW POINTE - May 9, 2003

Mayor Glen D. Gilmore conducted formal dedication ceremonies on Friday, May 9th to name a newly renovated section of Sayen Gardens as LaBaw Pointe in honor of the first president of the Nottingham Volunteer Fire Company and all members of Hamilton Township's fire protection services family. LaBaw Pointe is the first major expansion of the Sayen Park garden areas since it was first deeded to the Township.
The new area is five acres in size and features a stream ramble, fountain and pond area. Surrounding the water features are flowering trees, winding walkways and a profusion of ornamental plantings.
